Assolombarda's twelfth annual cybersecurity conference, built this year around where the NIS2 directive and the Cyber Resilience Act meet: governance duties on one side, product duties on the other, and the gap companies fall into between them. The annual gathering of Italy's IP networking and telecoms community, run by the Milan Internet eXchange and now in its twentieth year. Two days of peering meetings, technical sessions led by international experts, roundtables and a sponsor exhibition; recent editions have drawn around 1,500 delegates from more than 500 companies. The programme also includes MIX'COOL, a strand giving secondary school students hands-on exposure to IP networking.

A conference on the ethical, political, social and cultural consequences of artificial intelligence in contemporary societies, convened by SEPAI at IULM in Milan. Two days at Superstudio Village built as a sequence rather than a programme: Friday morning on the idea and what to build, Friday afternoon on validation and team, Saturday morning on go-to-market and growth, Saturday afternoon on fundraising. Over twenty speakers, among them Enrico Pandian, Diego Palano and Veronica Mariani on angel investing, Marco Ogliengo and Ivan Fioravanti on scaling, Erika De Santi of WeRoad on customer focus, Andrea Ferrero of Young Platform on fear of failure, and Corrado Blandini on investment clauses. The Startup Showcase final — five teams from 94 applicants — runs on stage on the Saturday in front of roughly 700 people. Run by Startup Geeks, backed by Italian Tech Alliance, InnovUp and Confindustria Lombardia. Doors 09:00 both days, stage from 10:00. Tickets ran €159 to €199 by release; food is paid at the venue. Why go: a first edition aimed squarely at people at the start, with a curriculum rather than a keynote parade. Best for first-time founders and anyone still deciding what to build.
