Contract Logistics "Gino Marchet" Observatory Annual Conference

The Politecnico di Milano's Contract Logistics "Gino Marchet" Observatory presents its annual research on AI, outsourcing models and service innovation in logistics. The evidence base is roughly 1,000 survey responses, 21 case studies of AI systems in logistics and supply chain, and over 20,000 company accounts. Marco Melacini leads the programme, with Damiano Frosi, Elena Tappia, Emilio Moretti and Andrea Fossa presenting. The morning covers market scenario and outsourcing, with a panel drawn from DHL Supply Chain, CEVA, DSV, DACHSER, Geodis and Logista, and the Gino Marchet scholarships awarded at 13:15. The afternoon turns to intralogistics automation and logistics real estate, including what data centres are doing to the property market. Free, 08:30 to 16:30 at Superstudio Maxi, Via Moncucco 35. In person only; registration closes at 17:00 the day before. Why go: it is the single best annual read on the Italian logistics market, and the operator panel is unusually senior. Best for supply chain and operations leaders, and anyone selling technology into logistics.
