The Italian C++ Community's November meetup in Milan, hosted at Randstad Box. One session: Jan Wilczek on "(Im)Perfect Forwarding: A Practical Guide to Value Categories in C++" - lvalues, rvalues and forwarding references treated as a practical problem rather than a standards-committee one.
Doors 18:30, talk, then an aperitivo paid for by think-cell, the evening's sponsor, with the room open to 22:00. Free but registration is required.
value categories are where most C++ codebases quietly leak copies, and this is a talk by someone who teaches the subject rather than a survey of new language features. Best for working C++ developers, and for anyone in Milan who wants the systems-programming room that is not about Rust for once.
