Deep Tech Scale-up Objective — Workshop 2

The second of three monthly morning workshops in Systematic's Club Scale-up Deep Tech, capped at twenty people, at Village by CA-Paris in the 8th, 09:00 to 14:00. Two sessions. Justine Langer, business law consultant at Bignon Lebray, on adapting a shareholders' agreement as you grow: exit terms, anti-dilution, liquidation preference, good and bad leaver clauses, and how decision-making actually shifts when investors take board seats and veto rights. Then Etienne Portais, founder of Curiosity and Maddyness, on communicating critical deep tech on trust rather than novelty, including what to say when the detail is confidential, and which stakeholders and spokespeople matter. Open to leaders of Systematic member companies who meet at least two eligibility criteria, with priority to Systematic champions and hi-France alumni. Why go: twenty people and a lawyer walking through the clauses that bite at the next round beats a hundred-person panel. Best for deep tech founders between a seed and a Series A.
