Focus Live 2026 — Intelligenze

The ninth edition of Focus magazine's science, technology and innovation festival, held inside Milan's national science and technology museum under the theme "Intelligenze". Technology and AI form one of five thematic strands, alongside a 1,600 square metre interactive area with live demos and labs. The programme runs a main stage, a speaker corner and a creators' corner, plus guided museum tours. Speakers include robotics researcher Barbara Mazzolai (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia), bioengineer Maria Chiara Carrozza (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna), pharmacologist Silvio Garattini (Istituto Mario Negri) and science journalist Massimo Polidoro. From 09:30 at Via San Vittore 21. Focus does not publish a price, so treat the free label as unconfirmed. Why go: it is a public science festival rather than an industry event, and the research names on stage are genuinely senior. Best for anyone bringing family, and for deeptech people who want Italian research rather than product pitches.
