PBIMCR presents 'FabCon Europe Key Takeaways'

A recap of FabCon Europe, the Microsoft Fabric and SQL community conference held in Barcelona, for people who could not get there. Martin Brierley, Data & AI Practice Lead at ANS, covers what the latest Fabric announcements mean for data engineering and enterprise AI readiness, drawing on seventeen years of enterprise architecture. Ian Pike, Data & AI Solutions Architect at ANS, gives live demos of the new features: tenant settings, Git integration and Direct Lake improvements, plus what the platform changes do to local data pipelines and licensing. Hosted by the Fabric & Power BI Manchester User Group at ANS in Hulme. Doors 5:30, talks 6:00 to 7:15, then pizza, drinks and open questions. First-timers welcome. Why go: conference recaps are usually slide dumps. Two practice leads doing live demos of features they have already tried against real pipelines is more useful. Best for data engineers and analysts on the Microsoft stack.
