An afternoon conference marking the launch of techUK's report Satellite Data for Sustainable Growth, 13:30 to 17:30 in London, closing with a networking reception.
Matthew Evans, techUK's COO, opens and Charlie Candy, Chief Revenue Officer and UK Managing Director at Planet, gives the keynote. The connectivity and market-access panel brings in Simon Rose of Airbus Defence and Space, Elizabeth Quintana from Ofcom, Rui Zuo of Eutelsat and Iuri Struta of S&P Global. The second panel, on space data and AI, has Serah Lister from the Government Commercial Authority, Dr Jonathan Lancelot of UWE Bristol and Andy Norris of SAC, followed by an SME and start-up showcase with DCat and CATALYST Earth.
Free and open to non-members. Venue details come with registration.
the UK space-data sector is small enough that this is most of it in one afternoon, and the operator-plus-regulator mix on the panels is unusual. Best for earth-observation and connectivity founders, and investors looking at the sector.
