EdinburghJS October Meetup - Self editing sites & internal tools

EdinburghJS meets at Perk in Fountainbridge for its October session, with two talks: building sites that clients can edit themselves, and the internal tooling teams end up writing whether or not they planned to. It is Edinburgh's main JavaScript community meetup, free and open to anyone who writes for the web, with doors from 18:30. The group runs monthly through the year and keeps the format simple — two talks, questions, then the room stays to talk. Perk is a working café space, so the atmosphere is closer to a conversation than a conference. Why go: both topics are the unglamorous work that eats real engineering time, and this is the Edinburgh room where front-end and full-stack developers compare notes on it without a vendor in the mix. Best for web developers, agency teams and anyone maintaining a CMS someone else has to use.
