About this event

Dublin's infosec meetup, in the Abbey Room of the Camden Court Hotel, with two talks and a bar. Isabella Sparks opens at 19:00 on Threatcraft. At 19:40 Aaron Ott presents work on an Auto Mode RCE in Claude Code, building on Johann Rehberger's research: a coding agent refuses to run an attacker's decoder, writes its own Python decoder instead, and executes it from inside the directory it just unzipped - where a planted struct.py shadows the real module. He walks the chain from injected prompt to execution and shows how often it fired across runs. From 18:30, free, food and drinks. Why go: agent security is being discussed everywhere and demonstrated almost nowhere. This is a working exploit, explained by the person who reproduced it. Best for security engineers, red teamers and anyone shipping coding agents.
