About this event
A day on internet policy run by the .IE Domain Registry, now in its second year. Registration opens at 09:30 and the programme runs to 16:00 at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.
Dr Maria Farrell opens with a keynote called Rewilding the Internet, on how a handful of platforms came to dominate every layer of the stack and what restoring diversity and resilience would take. The rest of the day is panels and discussion on online policy, with the full agenda published on the registration page.
Free, in person, six hours.
Why go: the registry that runs Ireland's domain space convenes this, so the room is infrastructure operators, regulators and researchers rather than vendors. Best for founders whose product depends on platform rules, and for anyone working on policy, trust and safety, or internet infrastructure.
