A free biweekly evening for developers in Milan who want dedicated, distraction-free time to actually build. Run by TDD Milano at WAO Isola in the Isola district, Open Coding Night is an anti-procrastination format — bring a personal project, a coding kata, a language you want to learn (Rust, Zig, Haskell) or an idea to experiment with, and you get a desk, a monitor and a room of curious, motivated people to work alongside. The evening opens with a short round of introductions, then two hours of focus time you can dip in and out of, a quick retrospective, and an optional dinner afterwards. English-speaking participants welcome. Free; limited desks.

Deep in the Italian summer lull this is one of the few tech rooms in the city still meeting weekly, which makes it a dependable option in an otherwise empty August.
